I took Eve and her family to one of my favorite spots in San Diego. Eve is a fantastic wedding coordinator in San Diego and is due with their second son, Cross by the end of the year!
Shay is going to be a great older brother!

It’s been awhile since I posted anything too personal, so I’ll take the Holiday to acknowledge what my life consists of!
There are so many things I am thankful for! Here is just a snippet!
-My husband and my kitty – see photo below 
-My uber-supportive parents whom I don’t see often enough (mostly because of their wanderlust)
-My extended family that lives close and I know I can lean on if needed
-The amazing friends that I have in my life and would probably go crazy without (shout out to my Betas!)
-My health, even if it hasn’t been great the last few weeks, overall I am normally really healthy!
-Awesome, trusting and loving clients that push me to be a better photographer every single day
-My Cerimone girls, Brenda and Cathy for being inspiring and creative and always believing in me
-So Cal for allowing me to work in my industry year round
-Margaritas and FroYo (Hey! It’s how I relax!)
-My iPhone – 3 way tied for the best purchase I made all year (along with my 50mm 1.2 lens and my Nissan Altima)
Not sure how I ever lived without that phone!
My family
We are headed to my in-laws house today for a Thanksgiving feast. Tim nominated us (read: me) to make green bean casserole. I was not born to be in the kitchen like Mandi was, but I think it looks great for my first attempt ever! Maybe next year they will trust me with something a little more difficult – like potatoes! haha

Brad, Verdette and I had so much fun at their Balboa Engagement Session, I was looking forward to hanging out with them again on their wedding day!

I have to stop here for a little shout out to my buddy Jon at Elite Image Limousine! Its very rare that a bride (ahem Verdette) books her limo BEFORE her other vendors. But in this case, I am so glad she did – Jon referred her to me and Brenda! I love Jon, he is the TOP in the transportation industry for sure! Call him for your limo needs!

This precious little guy was born in late September, just days after his parent’s maternity session (see blog just before this one!) He was exactly one week old when I got to meet him. I was able to wrestle him away from his two loving grandmothers long enough to grab some photos!
I know you will see plenty of Wyatt through the years on this blog!

The day of this maternity shoot, it was Hot. Not just hot…capital H – Hot! According to my car, it was 104 degrees in Fallbrook! Poor Ann, she was pretty miserable in the heat, but she was a trooper! The coolest thing about these photos – Baby Wyatt was born just 4 days later! Mom and baby are doing well! Wyatt’s newborn photos coming very soon!!
So happy for you two!!

My phone was off the whole cruise! I swear, it was! I turned it back on Monday morning, open my inbox and the very first email I read is one from Southern Weddings Magazine with the spread below in it. At first, I questioned why they were sending me this until I opened the spread to see my photo was published! And surrounded by some really inspiring photographers too! Let’s just say this news made my month!

I can’t even remember the last time I had been to San Francisco! Definitely not in this decade. So of course I was excited to shoot the wedding of Mike and Rachel downtown San Francisco!
The morning started at the Marine Memorial Club, which is also where the reception was held.

Candice and David have been so patient waiting for their blog!
They were married on a beautiful (read = warm) October day at NTC Chapel (next to Cerimone!) and ending at the Oceanview Room on the Pt Loma Sub Base down the road.
The dynamic duo of Julie and Mick made sure the day (and night) ran so smoothly – while Norma from NR3 provided great company and some laughs!
Candice chose to get ready alone (at her parents house) that morning which was extremely stress-free!
I snuck underneath the dress with her…never had that angle before
