Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
When I was in the Chicago area this past May, I met up with one of my sorority sisters in Naperville for some family photos! I had been to Naperville many times but never to this cute river walk area! It was adorable. When Jeremy and Emily got married a few years back, they had their engagement photos taken at the same location. Now their little girl Morgan is 1 and she is just too adorable! Jeremy’s family then joined us for some more group photos at the end!
If you don’t know Rev Christopher Tuttle then you should take some to seek him out and introduce yourself. He is a such a caring, heart warming man who is always a joy to be around. He is a friend and fellow wedding vendor and performs happy couple’s wedding ceremonies year round. Last year he started a charity called Military Mondays. Lucky military couples can get a free wedding ceremony and other select services free of charge! I had volunteered my free photography services for Kelly Jo and Cory’s wedding at the Bali Hai. They were able to celebrate with their closest family friends and their kids. The florals were donated by Elegant Touch Floral Designs.

Tom and Geetha were married in a very intimate wedding ceremony at Estancia La Jolla. Most of Geetha’s family lives in India so they were able to Skype to them so they could follow along the entire day! I love technology. The wedding ran so smoothly from start to finish, thanks to the oversight of Helena.

I took the train up to Union Station and met Jon and Tricia for their Los Angeles Engagement session. I love shooting brand new places I’ve never been! Union station had some amazing architecture and the park we went to after, Angels Knoll Park was extra awesome because it was a part in one of my favorite movies – 500 Days of Summer. Umm rad! These two were so fun to hang out with, can’t wait for their wedding next year!!
