This was a special wedding for me – it took place on my 31st birthday!  I couldn’t turn down a chance working with Erin from Your Event by Erin, especially when the bride is her sister!  It was a wonderful day in Coronado, Kath + Toby are so obviously in love with each other, they make my job easy.  It was really cool working at the I-Bar on the base in Coronado – what a rad location. Sort of a Balboa Park type of vibe without anyone there!

Jeff + Susanna had a beautiful February wedding in Mission Beach surrounded by their closest friends and family. The event was planned in a short time period by the amazing DeShai with Oh So Chic Weddings and Events. I loved that they incorporated Susana’s favorite flower – the sunflower. My favorite part of the day is when we jumped in my car and drove down to Belmont Park! The wedding was on a weekday so the place was pretty deserted! I got some of my most favorite “fun” wedding photos every – which fit these two perfectly!

 I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had with these two!  We met up in their hometown of Huntington Beach – where they grew up together – literally!  They are high school sweethearts (although went to different schools) so this town holds so many memories of their relationship.   They showed me their favorite spots and even treated me to the best gelato I’ve ever tasted this side of the pond!   We were met with gorgeous light and the perfect amount of breeze.  I simply cannot wait for their wedding this August!

 This lovely lady has graced this blog before 🙂  We met up in Las Vegas and took some sexy photos in a sexy hotel – the Cosmopolitan.   We did a new concept I thought of – night & day boudoir shoot.  Pretty, soft (but still sensual) images with natural light.  Then after dark, some off camera lighting and sexier makeup.  Wish I was able to share all of the awesome images we got but this will do for now!  😉

Wow, what a fantastic year!  Putting together this montage of our weddings reminded me of so many great moments, laughs and memories over the last year. And not just with weddings, I have so many other shoots not represented here.  I truly meet some of the most amazing people through my business.  I am so blessed.

To everyone that touched my life in the last year – thank you.  I wouldn’t be successful without my clients, friends, family and supportive vendors.  I owe each and everyone one of you a huge hug next time we meet in person.
