Last week I had a great oppurtunity to shoot some cool hair models for Rylin Ashlee Salon in Old Town Temecula. They do all sorts of awesome things there from hair, to facials, to massages! Definitly check out their website for everything they do!

A few weeks ago, my good friend Kerianne called me to see if I wanted to be involved in a reality tv launch party for a new show she is doing the marketing for.

Of course! Any chance to shoot and see my good friend! The launch party was for a TV Show called Hollywood Love. It revolves around three hillarious women and their quest for love. It stars Katie Love, Amy Stiller and Cynthia Levin. Let me tell you, these ladies are fabulous! Their stand up comedy was some of the funniest stuff I have heard in a long time! Below is where the party took place, Cinespace on Hollywood Blvd. That is the star of Queen.

Christopher from Paul Mitchell the School was on hand to do the makeup. That is Kara Revel, one of the producers.

My dear friend Kerianne. We actually know each other from college…in Illinois!

Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

There are so many different avenues you can take in photography. I went in to College with the plan to be a newspaper or magazine (preferably Sports) photographer. When that didn’t suit me, I pursued weddings and fell in love with what I do.

But sometimes the oppurtunity comes along to explore the other avenues of photography. I did a commercial shoot this past Friday for the North County Transit District. The new Sprinter will be opening this coming Sunday (how exciting for North County!). I was hired to do some candid shots of the 40+ extras that day. I had a blast and look forward to exploring and expanding my portfolio in the future (But I promise, my true passion is weddings…I will never give that up!)

Since I don’t have the model releases from the shoot (the client has them), I am just going to post the photos I took with no people in them! These were all taken at the Oceanside Transit Center.
