I met Robin prior to her engagement to Zach.  She is the best friend of a very good friend of mine, Katie.   I was thrilled when she got engaged and contacted me to be the photographer!  They are getting married this Winter and I cannot wait for the wedding!

I adored both of Robin’s dresses during this shoot!  I <3 Anthropologie!

One on of their very first dates, Zach and Robin went hiking at Torrey Pines Reserve.  While they were there, they saw a couple taking their engagement photos.  Robin secretly thought to herself…if Zach and I ever get married (she had a feeling back then!) I want to take our engagement photos here.  Such a cute story!

After the shoot, Zach grabbed his Android phone and started taking photos of Robin – it was so cute and totally impromptu!

I’d love to say that I planned this out, but I have to admit, its purely coincidental…today is Marlene’s birthday!  Here is my birthday present to you my dear!! <3

Marlene booked me last year…for her 2011 wedding!  Talk about planning ahead!  This was my first time meeting Jeff because he is gone a large amount of time, serving our Country. Thank you for that Jeff!

They are so sweet together!  You can just see the love when they look at each other!

So great hanging out with you two and looking forward to your July wedding next year!!

I have SO many weddings to blog, I’m about a month and a half behind! Cannot wait to share them all with you, but the blog is 2nd priority. The first being, delivering images to the client! So I promise some more wedding goodness very soon!

In the meantime, I wanted to get these up on the blog before this weekend…since these two are tying the knot on Sunday in Milwaukee!

Erin is my sorority sister from Bradley and Jerry was in the same year as me as well!  They have such a fun time together, always laughing.

Aw man, Chicago has some beautiful light! Can you believe there were crazy Thunderstorms all weekend before this??

These two have a wedding coming up VERY soon!  We shot on a very cloudy day in Coronado and had a great time laughing and shooting.  Plus they treated me to a beer and wings after – my kind of clients!

Elaine and Jorge introduced me to the amazing Irvine Park in Orange.  This place was huge!  And the light was unbelievable..I couldn’t get enough of it as you can tell from the set of photos below   I also couldn’t get enough of how fun these two are together!

I have a lot of favorites in this session but I think this may be the front runner <3

They are smokin’ hot but they also have a goofy side!

When Jodie hired Mandi to shoot her wedding, she approached her about a non-traditional engagement shoot.   Jodie felt that after 8 years of dating Kevin, they had enough photos of them with their clothes on (ha!).  Instead, why not do a fun bathing suit engagement shoot!  Love clients that think outside the box!

Hint: The brown house over Kevin’s shoulder is the house the vacation in quite often.  Their ceremony is going to be held on this beach out front! Stayed tuned till October for that blog!

The water (and air) were freezing, but these two were such awesome sports! No complaints at all!

Mandi and I had so much fun frolicking all over Mission Beach with you two!  Have an amazing wedding, can’t wait to see Mandi’s photos!

Jaime and Dave met on a military training in Texas…and I think its just adorable that he is a Doctor and she is a Nurse!   Jaime is about to leave for deployment so they wanted to get their engagement photos out of the way before she left!

Jesper is like a cousin to me.  He lived with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins as part of a foreign exchange program and became a family member to them.  He met the love of his life, Amy through another family member – and the rest is history!  These two love birds live in different parts of the state right now…but will be moving to Denmark after their August wedding! So exciting!

They were so easy going.  It was super windy on the day of their shoot and the sky was threatening to rain the entire shoot!  They were up for anything I suggested…I love it!

Mandi met up with Jean and Ryan for their engagement session in Downtown San Diego.  I love the fun spots they found, including a trendy rooftop bar that was deserted!  It’s fun seeing the images through someone else’s lens!
