Molly + Mike: Engagement Session in Coronado and on the Ferry!
I love my couples. Not just love, I abosultely adore my couples and feel like the luckiest girl in the world sometimes to get to meet such awesome people year after year. It’s just a total bonus that they actually pay me to be around. HA!
See what Mike and Molly brought me, Mandi and Allison on their engagment shoot? Mike made them for us since their shoot was on Valentine’s Day! And they were so yummy!
It was totally Molly’s idea to rent a Surrey Bike to ride around in front of Hotel Del. Shout out to Molly’s parents for helping us and schmoozing the rental company for the free bike!
How adorable are these two!? I cannot wait for their July wedding!
Another reason I love my couples…they go along with some crazy ideas I have! We jumped on the PACKED (it was Valentine’s Day, remember) Coronado Ferry to ride across and shoot photos.
This may be my favorite photos of the day. Something really natural and organic about it…
See? Crowded, standing room only…or should I say kissing room only?
The love these two have are contagious! In case I didn’t say it enough before, I adore them

Audra and Mike – Old Town San Diego Engagement Photos
I hope you have a comfy seat – this is one large blog! I had a really hard time narrowing down the images for this post.
As soon as I met Audra, I knew we were going to click. I was so glad when she booked me at the initial meeting. Fast forward to November, I was right…Audra is now my friend and amazing hair stylist! Check her out at Michael David Hair Design – she rocks!

Favorite #1 <3

Favorite #2!!

I seriously have not had a bigger smile on my face while editing these images, I love hanging out with these two! So stoked for their wedding in August!

Paul and Carolyn – Cabrillo and Sunset Cliffs Engagement Photos
Carolyn and Paul picked one of my favorite spots for an engagement session – Pt Loma Lighthouse at Cabrillo Monument!
These two are so fun to chat with – I can’t wait for their wedding in July!

We caught the last bit of sunset at Sunset Cliffs that night!

This may be my favorite <3

C+P win my most daredevil couple award! They wanted to hang their feet off the edge, I was far away from the edge having a panic attack in the meantime!

Can’t wait to see you two soon! Hope you are having an amazing vacation right now!

Courtney and Ian – Montage Resort Engagement Photos
I had a blast getting to know these two at the Montage Resort a few weeks back! They are so much fun and love to laugh – my kind of clients! Oh and it doesn’t hurt that they are both gorgeous! Ian is a rugby player – how cool is that?

During a wardrobe change I got to meet their puppy, Taupo!

I love when my clients laugh…it makes my heart smile

I’m SO looking forward to your wedding in July!

Nydia and Jerry – Hotel Del Engagement
A few weeks ago I met up with Nydia and Jerry at the Hotel Del Coronado for some awesome engagement shots! When I had the initial meeting with these two, it lasted over two hours! I had so much fun talking with them! They are both awesomely creative and even have their own clothing line in the works!

Love this shot, it isn’t set up at all…pure Nydia and Jerry!

I love couples that aren’t afraid to get their feet wet!

Nydia wore this fresh flower in her hair to honor her great-grandmother who recently passed

N&J I always have so much fun with you two! Looking forward to your wedding in July!

Verdette and Brad – Balboa Park Engagement
From the moment I got my first email from Verdette, I knew she was a kind soul. Plus any who admits they cried during someone else’s wedding slideshow is a person who gets what I am doing in this profession. Brad is the perfect balance to Verdette. He keeps her grounded and she makes him smile so much his face hurts! They are two peas in a pod!
I am so looking forward to their November wedding! Big thanks to my favorite limo guy, Jon Brattland for the referral!

Verdette has a great laugh and she isn’t afraid to use it!

You can’t tell in a photo, but Brad is about to burst out in “I Had the Time of my Life” right now. He has a special love for anything 80’s.

One of my favs <3

It was strangely quiet at Balboa Park that day…must have been all the rain!

You are beautiful Verdette. Period.

Not sure what I said to make them laugh, but it sure did work!

They wanted another type of background so we got up the street for some more urban shots

Pushing my 5D and 50mm 1.2 to its limits

Thanks for being so fun to hang out with!
XOXO, M
