Olowalu Plantation House Wedding, Maui – |Brianna + Brandon|

Brianna + Brandon had one of the funnest and most outgoing personalities of any of my clients. These two love to have FUN. And I wanted to show that in their images. Their dance party was off the hook – the floor was packed the entire night with B+B right smack dab in the middle. They wanted a vintage laid-back Hawaii wedding and Cherise with The Perfect Maui Wedding really delivered. My favorite detail? The huge Love sign right on the shore!

Oh and extra cool bonus points – this wedding was featured on Every Last Detail today. How lucky am I?

Carlsbad Elopement Photographer |Kevin + Tina|

I met Tina two years ago when she came to me for some photos of herself. She was jumping in to the world of online dating and wanted nice and professional images to share on Well, shortly after she posted the photos she got a message from a handsome, tall gentleman named Kevin who told me that it was her photos that drew him to her. You guys! How cool is this?! I was a teeny part of their love story and that makes the romantic in me scream from the rooftops! Of course I was thrilled when they asked me to be part of the next chapter – their elopement! They were married earlier in the day and we met up that evening for some portraits around their neighborhood!

Lafayette Hotel San Diego Wedding – |Julian + Ryan|

I’m so thrilled to share this fun wedding. I don’t typically take weddings on my birthday, but Julian and Ryan are something special. They have so much love in their heart for each other and even more to share with their baby girl Hazel Rose! And of course love for Star Wars. Ryan MADE the lightsabers you see in this blog! How freaking cool is that?! It was also my first time at Lafayette Hotel and my little photographer heart melted with all the brick and retro decor!

Maricopa Manor, Phoenix Wedding – |Drew + Samantha|

arizona photographerOne reason I love destination weddings so much is that I get to shoot in new spots and I get so inspired! Although this wasn’t a technical destination wedding as the couple is local to Phoenix, I had to travel so I count it for me! 🙂 They took me to Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix which was a photography heaven! The could not have been more perfect. Weather was mild, the people were amazing. I had so much getting to know Samantha over the years as she was a bridesmaid in a past wedding! It was an incredible introduction to my first (and hopefully not last!) Arizona wedding!
