Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
January 25, 2012 – A couple weeks ago my good friend Eve gave birth to a beautiful little girl. I was very lucky to have been invited to be there for her birth and capture the process. This was the 2nd birth that I have photographed and I loved every minute of it. The anticipation, the calm, the birth and the joy. It’s extremely emotional. Kapri arrived just after 3am after a (relatively) short labor for Eve.

What I love about my clients is that our relationship doesn’t end at the wedding! A few months ago, I shot Janice and Andrew’s maternity portraits in San Juan Capistrano.
So when I had a chance to meet Paul soon after he was born, I was excited! They didn’t actually hire me to take these photos, I just wanted to do that for them since they are such loyal clients of mine

I thought today would be the most fitting day to post these two lovebirds’ maternity session. It has been exactly one year today since their fantastic Vegas wedding! I can say over and over again how much I adore these two. I love when clients become friends! Janice makes me laugh so much and Andrew is so kind and interesting, how could you not want to be friends with these two? I would bet money their son will be making an appearance on this blog in the near future

Almost two years ago I ran a contest on my blog for a free photoshoot. Alicia was the winner! She actually donated her shoot to a good friend of hers that needed photos more than Alicia did. Well, the friend and I never found the right time to get together. I got an email a few months ago from the friend saying that Alicia was pregnant and wanted to donate the shoot back…did you follow all that?? Well, fast forward to now! Alicia and Carlos just had a baby! Little Alejandro is so adorable!
