Jessie and Ben were married on the beach in gorgeous La Jolla. Ashley Tatum of Ashley Elizabeth Art of Entertaining was the coordinator and also designed the beautiful florals!

Jessie was an absolute beauty!

Mandi met up with Jean and Ryan for their engagement session in Downtown San Diego. I love the fun spots they found, including a trendy rooftop bar that was deserted! It’s fun seeing the images through someone else’s lens!

The Dvorak Family – Estancia La Jolla Family portraits

Last year at the Dvorak family session, Jake wasn’t quite walking…and Lisa was newly pregnant with the twins! So new, that I didn’t even know it! How surprised was I when she told me that had two new adorable additions to the family!

Meet Audrey and Erin!

Guvu isn’t a new addition…but he is an important part of the family!

This was their choice for the Christmas card photo!

Do you know how difficult it is to get 4 month old twins to pose together, look your way and smile? Trust me. It’s hard.

and of course the two who made it all happen!

So happy to see you again this year, Dvorak family!

David and Sally – Cuvier Park and The Pearl Restaurant Wedding

Sally and David had a beautiful outdoor wedding last week…and it rained before and after the ceremony! They were so lucky to have gorgeous blue skies the short time in between!

Love the traditional Vietnamese ao dai she wore for the end of the reception!

This may be my new favorite getting in to a dress shot!

David is Scottish and I love love love their kilts! And how they blended the two different cultures!

Sally is a life long dancer, she performed an impromtu tap dance for David!

Chris and Sandy – La Valencia Wedding Photographer

Earlier this month, Sandy and Chris were married in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Pacific. La Valencia is such a beautiful place to photograph, so many nooks and crannies to shoot in! But the day started off down in Hillcrest at DK Hair Salon.

Her gorgeous dress!

I love that her mom planned ahead and brought a knitting needle to button her dress!

Oh Stuart, you never do me wrong <3 these shoes!

Meanwhile, over at the La Jolla Shores Hotel…(photo by my new associate Mandi) Chris was getting ready with his family!

All of the lovely florals were done by the wonderful Christine of Fancy That Florals Designs.

The couple opted for a first look, which is always a good idea! We had so much time for photos!

Travis and Blair – Estancia La Jolla Wedding

Blair and Travis came from Texas to exchange vows at the gorgeous Estancia Hotel and Spa in La Jolla. I had not met these two until the night before the wedding. I loved how expressive Blair is and how sweetly Travis treats her. They are so kind and gentle with each other.

Jennifer Bueno of Beauty to Be was just applying the finishing touches when I got there.

You know the day is going to be fabulous when you start the wedding with a little Vera Wang:

Meanwhile, on the other side of the property, Travis was trying to stay cool in the heat!
