I’m so excited share Debi + Jeff’s wedding photos from the gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House in Maui! I always get to know the families a little better with destination weddings and it was no different with these families! Jeff + Debi are so much fun to hang out with. And laid back, a perfect attitude for Maui! Fun fact: I got my first ever bee sting during bridal party portraits. On my toe! A very nice EMT masquerading as a groomsmen took good care of me and cleaned/bandaged me up!

When I see Maui in my inbox, my heart flutters.  I love it there. I feel at home there. I’m so fortunate to be there. I was especially excited when Bry told me she and Brian were getting married – I have known Bry for many years – since high school!  Thanks to Facebook we reconnected.  It was a gorgeous day on the island, and even when it started to sprinkle as Bry walked down the aisle – nothing could wipe that beautiful smile off her face! I think she would have married Brian amid a tornado!  She has the most infectious smile and laugh that I’ve seen!  The night ended with an intimate dinner at Merriman’s.

Crayton and Vanessa (and their friends/family) came all the way from So. California to get married on the beautiful island of Maui.  The weather just couldn’t have been more perfect!  Their first look was one of the sweetest I have witnessed and their bridal party was so nice and willing to help out any way they could!  Cherise from The Perfect Maui Wedding made sure the day ran so smoothly and the talented Della of Dellables created one of my favorite bouquets to date!  At the end of the night, there were a few cases of Kona beer left over so I got to take one home to enjoy on my extended week in Maui with Jason!  Thanks you guys!  Aloha!

Karen and Albert had one of the most International weddings I have ever done!  The guests were from China, England and the US!  Well, only Albert is originally from the the US.   Such a fun eclectic group!  They were married at the gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House and had their reception at the Old Lahaina Luau.  We had some time before the luau began so we took a few hours for photos of the lovebirds!

I met The Schnider family when I was shooting a wedding in Branson Missouri in June. Turns out they were going to be on Maui the same time as me…and we are practically neighbors in San Diego! Such a small world! I met them early in the morning in Kaanapali and we had some fun playing in the sand!
