JT and Crystal – Ocean View Villas Wedding, San Diego Photography

I was so excited for this day to come. Crystal and JT had hired me over a year ago and the day finally came! Crystal was actually at my wedding, helping my coordinator and getting experience since her wedding was in the same location, Ocean View Villas! Another cool thing? She also had Stir Fresh as her caterers, which is where we met for the first time back in 2008!

I got to meet JT for the first time at their engagement session in Las Vegas, where they both grew up.

When Beki and I arrived, Ashley from AC Makeup was putting the finishing touches on Crystal. Hana of Sunshine Hair Design had already finished her gorgeous hair.

Her amazing Amy Michelson dress! I loved the back of it!

They opted to do their first look at Balboa Park, where Crystal’s parents were married many years ago. It was a very sweet moment, intimate and special, while the family was still able to watch from afar.

A guest owns his own button and magnet company, so these made great party favors! I love Crystal’s unconventional ring!

Justin and Tanya – Ocean View Villas, Pt. Loma California Wedding

Tanya and Justin were married last Tuesday – yes, a Tuesday! Can’t beat that! Tanya was referred to me by Christina Werner of BB Weddings and Events!

I am a bit partial to where these two said their I Do’s. It’s where I got married – Ocean View Villas in Pt Loma! Its hard to believe its already been 11 months since my celebration!

Felicia and Mike’s rehearsal dinner – Ocean View Villas

I couldn’t make it to my friend Felicia’s wedding so I came to her fiesta rehearsal dinner instead! Her wedding ceremony was held at Ocean View Villas.

Brad and Alicia – Ocean View Villas Wedding

This is going to be a monster blog post! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites!

Alicia and Brad were married at Ocean View Villas this past Saturday with the most perfect weather I have seen ever! Earlier in the week, the weatherman forecasted rain. Alicia was a little panicked but it turned out to be the bluest skies!

Alicia is so gorgeous!

The happy couple decided to see each other before the ceremony, and they were so happy they did that! We had so much time for photos!

I think she should be a model!

I always have such a blast being back at Ocean View Villas! I couldn’t ask for better clients either, Alicia and Brad. You two are so fun to be around and obviously make each other so happy! I am jealous of your long Honeymoon in Hawaii!

Ocean View Villas Wedding

It was fun to shoot this wedding last Fall because I got to see an OVV wedding in action, before my own!

Margaret and Dan chose to see each other before hand. Such a great idea!

Brian and Sara are getting married!

On Friday Tim and I met up with Sara and Brian at Sunset Cliffs for their engagement session!

This was my first time meeting Brian. It was obvious from the beginning of the shoot that he adores Sara. He kept me laughing the whole shoot, but more importantly, he had Sara cracking up the entire time!

Right after I snapped this, he went straight to biting her neck. She started laughing so hard, which can be seen in the following photo!

mmm so gorgeous. She is going to be a stunning bride this August!

The wind started getting a bit crazy, as you can see on Sara’s hair!

There wasn’t too much of a sunset, but the clouds were fantastic!

Carrie and Chris – Ocean View Villas

This past Saturday my friend Carrie got married in the same location that Tim and I tied the knot last month! She helped out a ton at my wedding so I returned the favor and helped the fabulous Brenda Swann with the setup and breakdown of Carrie’s wedding. I brought my camera along, of course!

Malgorzata Czarny was Carrie’s wedding photographer, I was only there as a helper/guest/wedding crasher! :)

I love all the details Carrie envisioned. It all worked so well together.

So last weekend it poured. It hailed. It didn’t stop. Except for the 40-ish minutes Carrie needed for her ceremony! The skies were amazing blue and sunny! It was amazing since it literally was hailing in North County!

We now pronounce you man and wife!

A little quiet time…this is when the rain started!

They had Soup Plantation for dinner! It was delish!
