Lisa and Niels again!  The following Monday after their wedding, before they hopped a plane back to North Dakota we got together for a trash the dress session!

First stop, Balboa Park.  Love coming here on Monday…there was no one around!

And then a bit later, headed to Sunset Cliffs for a total trashing of the dress!  (ok not really, water doesn’t actually trash it!)

The waves were strong!  I had them lay down…

and they didn’t even know what hit them!  Too funny!

Thanks you two for trusting me and being such willing clients!  I adore you two!  It was so worth getting wet!

Katie and Ian are such troopers!  The walked all over the train depot, sat in itchy weeds, dodged oncoming trains and avoided crazy men with shot guns!  It was an eventful shoot for sure!  We headed up to San Juan Capistrano to find some yummy light.

Katie and I met on a local chat board because we were both getting married around the same time.  Its been so fun getting to know her over the last year and share our experiences!

Shout out to Megan Tyson (916-267-4868) for the awesome job on Katie’s makeup! 

We drove down the road and ended up at this gorgeous field of weeds, among other treasures!

My favorite of the day  Katie was a good laugher.

Whew that was a monster post!  Thanks to Katie and Ian for rocking the shoot and being open to any of my crazy ideas!  And thanks also to my lovely assistant Mandi, you are awesome!
