Audrey and Megan
Vacation, what’s that? I scheduled a photoshoot for Saturday when I was in Portland. The best part is that it was with a good friend from high school, Cheryl!
Her daughters are so cute! And they totally remind me of her! We did the shoot at Gena’s house (another friend from HS who has 2 sons). It was rainy all morning and got really nice for about an hour that we were shooting!

Easter Sunday in Parkdale

It’s always to nice to see my extended McClure family. I don’t get up here as often as I should. My little cousins are getting so big now, I remember when they were just babies! Now the babies are 16 and 13!

My aunt and uncle live is a gorgeous house that he built in Parkdale, OR. Basically at the base of Mt. Hood.

My beautiful 95 year old Grandmother, Charlotte. She was the reason for the trip:

We had a gluten-free Easter lunch, including rice crackers and smoked Salmon. Evan did a wonderful job of arranging the salmon 🙂 :

My gramma is a writer, second and a poet first. She has been writing limericks forever! In her 70’s she took a creative writing class and for her assignments, she wrote stories about her life. Each of the grandkids took turns reading a story from that class. We laughed, we smiled and I even saw a tear or two.

My dad is such a quiet person, its a treat when he laughs:

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dave welcomed us in to their home with open arms:

So glad Beza was able to make the trip up with me, gramma was happy to see her too:

Justin was able to make it up from Eugene, with help from his girlfriend Julie. (side note, Justin and I are exactly 3 days apart. I’m older):

David, my dads little brother. My Aunt Linda and Uncle Dave were also able to make it. Their kids had other plans (one is India!) so we missed them:

It was a nice, emotional weekend, very glad I made it!

Airports are….fun?

I made it safe to Oregon. It’s raining. Of course. I’m up at Mt Hood with my family watching Scrubs. So nice.
Saw my gramma today, she was in good spirits. I think she is happy to have me, Beza and Justin all in one place.
I was bored at the airport yesterday waiting for my plane so I took some incognito shots of passengers for fun.
The highlight of my plane ride was laughing at the girl in the green track suit and stilettos. Yeah it’s true. I only got a camera phone shot though. Bummer.

March 31, 2007

Well, wedding season is offically under way! My first wedding of the year was last Saturday. The bride and groom are very private people so I agreed to not post photos of them or their guests.

But I will share with you some of the details of the day! The weather was perfect, the church was so pretty and the bride and groom were not nervous at all!

Welcome to the World Dylon Joesph!

I got to see Dylon for the first time ever yesterday! Parents are Mark’s cousins Bryon and Adrian. You might remember Adrian from this blog when I took her maternity photos.

Dylon was sleeping when I got there yesterday, so I just held him for awhile. He woke up and started fussing…he felt a ton better after he spit up on me!! haha

Here are a few shots I snapped of him at 2.5 weeks old! Stay tuned for his one month photos soon!
