Anniversary Archive

It’s always a great feeling when my wedding clients come back a year later for more pictures! Kristen wanted something a bit different and after chatting we decided to play with holi powder! We had a blast taking “normal” photos first and then getting colorful after!

Rebecca + Anthony were married on 4th of July last year but didn’t get professional photos from their wedding. I was excited when they contacted me for some anniversary photos! It was great hearing their story of how they met (through friends in high school) and how they reconnected years later (random meeting in an airport after they both joined the Navy). We had a blast laughing and hiking to my favorite spots in North County!

I posted an Anniversary session a few months back and Jen posted on my Facebook that she loved the idea!  After a little bit of chatting, we realized we would be in Maui at the same time – one year after they got married!  It was fate.  We stopped at some gorgeous spots around the island and celebrated their last year of bliss!

I met Karen and Albert last year at their wedding in Maui and was so excited to see them again this year!  I told them this has to be a tradition now, even if they move to the other side of the world 😉  They live in Palm Desert but drove out for the day and I took them a few of my favorite spots!

I love these two!  Sara, Pod and I all went to college together.  Sara is also runs several successful wedding businesses in Central Illinois!  They hadn’t taken a trip since their Honeymoon so for their anniversary this year they came to sunny San Diego!  They fell in love with it and I was so happy to capture the love for the city and each other on Coronado for my first shoot of 2011!  We were blessed with an amazing pink sunset too!  Enjoy and leave these lovebirds some words on how nice and warm San Diego is while they are freezing in the Midwest! Maybe they will move West! 😉
