Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.

This past Saturday was Tristen and Colin’s beautiful wedding at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. Its a 163 year old estate and it is so rustic and unique!
When Tristen contacted me last year her name sounded so familiar. I ended up asking her where she grew up and it turns out we went all the way from grade school to high school together! She was a couple years younger than me, but we both remembered! What a small world.
Claudia from Makeup by CJ came down to do Tristen’s makeup, she was the makeup artist at my wedding as well!

Something you can’t tell from the photos but Tristen is freaking hilarious! She has such a funny sense of humor, she cracks me up! I got some really funny poses out of her but decided to leave those for her own own! haha

Last month I had the pleasure of assisting the lovely Kimberlee West at a wedding in Orange County.
The day was beautiful, the bride was even more gorgeous and it all went smooth! Well, except for the ring bearer pulling the fire alarm minutes before the ceremony was to start! The bride laughed and thought it was on purpose! I mean, the groom is a fireman after all, it would be too perfect! But it was a coincidence and the church ladies were able to call off the fire dept. before they arrived!

After the ceremony, we ran off to The Montage Resort. It was my first time there and I hope not my last!

Yesterday I grabbed some of my photo buddies and arranged another get-together/Headshot Exchange!

Katie and Ian are such troopers! The walked all over the train depot, sat in itchy weeds, dodged oncoming trains and avoided crazy men with shot guns! It was an eventful shoot for sure! We headed up to San Juan Capistrano to find some yummy light.
Katie and I met on a local chat board because we were both getting married around the same time. Its been so fun getting to know her over the last year and share our experiences!
Shout out to Megan Tyson (916-267-4868) for the awesome job on Katie’s makeup!
