Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
The first one was Allana and Sherwin! We wandered the Chicago Botanic Garden, which was awesome because I had never been there. Its a gorgeous park with beautiful landscaping!
And who doesn’t love a beautiful apple orchard?

Katherine and Anthony were married on May 9th at the NTC Chapel. It was an extremely intimate ceremony, just immediate family, most of which stood on the altar with the happy couple!

I’m a little behind in blogging since I have been traveling and shooting non-stop for the last few weeks! I’m playing major catchup this week!
I met with the gorgeous Jenny to take some informal headshots of her. She needed an updated photo of herself for work. Big thanks to my friend, Carrie for the referral!
Jenny was an absolute natural in front of the camera! Her beauty is evident inside and out! I had so much fun getting to know her, can’t wait to get together again and have Ethiopian food!
We joked if she ever made a music album, this would be the cover! haha

The day after Janice and Andrew’s fabulous MGM wedding, the lovely bride got back in her dress and we took some fun photos!
We started out with the girls at the MGM pool

Later that afternoon, we drove out of the city lights to the Dry Lake Bed for the bride and groom trash the dress session!

I love shooting in new locations. I love shooting in new locations that are located outside of So Cal even more! When Janice and Andrew decided to switch their venue and date to Las Vegas in May, they told me I was coming with and I couldn’t have been more ecstatic! These two started as clients but have grown in to friends. They are awesome and I wish them the best of luck in their marriage (even though they didn’t bring me to Jamaica on their honeymoon with them! just kidding!)

MGM does not allow outside photographers to shoot wedding there, you have to use their staff. So I turned in to a “guest” at that point, and had a great angle!
We didn’t take a ton of portraits on Sunday…we saved our energy for their awesome Trash the Dress session the following day (blog coming soon)!
