Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
I was so excited for this engagement session since I had never been to the Griffith Observatory before! What a neat place! Roxana is a good friend of my past bride Brooke! Brooke gifted them a session with me, how sweet is that? I had a blast getting to know these two in the sky above Los Angeles!
Marlene was a planner! She was my first 2011 wedding booked…back in 2009! I can remember thinking how far away the wedding seemed. You can peek at their engagement session here. As usual, Brenda made sure everything wedding went smoothly! And it did…from their super sweet first look to their emotional vows and ending in a high-energy dance party complete with glow sticks! What a party! I’m ready to do it again, k Marlene? 1 year vow renewal? 😉

These two are getting married this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited! We decided to get together for a last minute engagement session at La Jolla Cove. I loved seeing Julie again and meeting Brett for the first time! Their wedding is going to be a blast! Stay tuned to see their faces soon! 😉
I met Lindsay and Erik through my boyfriend! He has known Erik for years and I’ve had fun getting to know the happy couple over the last year and a half. I was so excited to hear they were getting married! I am not shooting their wedding (we are guests) but wanted to share their engagement session. They are beer nerds connoisseurs like my man and their first date was at a beer bar called Small Bar. We started off with a beer there and walked around the neighborhood after!
I’ve known Melissa for a few years now, she is actually my ex-sister in law (and we shared the same name for a short time)! I was honored she asked me to photograph her wedding to Drew, it was such a fun day full of laughs! I’m a bit behind on blogging…this wedding was last June and these two lovebirds welcomed a set of fraternal twins this past February! Whew! They both brought a teenaged daughter to the marriage as well so that is one full household! Brady Bunch in the making 😉 Congrats you two, I’m so happy for your family!
The pic to the left below makes me giggle…the sprinklers turned on and hit the bridesmaids at the end of the ceremony! They all laughed it off, including the bride!
