Trash the Dress Archive

One of my favorite things to do after a destination wedding is a trash the dress session with the couple! It’s typically the next day, the nerves and stress have been lifted and they can truly enjoy just being married. Ozzie and Janie were so much fun and down for anything! We even met up with some of their guests at the Hyatt pool for some floatie fun!

I thought these two were being a little ambitious – wanting to do a day after session the morning after their wedding! But they were rockstars, came fully prepared to jump in the ocean! We had a perfect morning, and even had a group of kids catch her bouquet! So fun!

Today is the one year anniversary since Yue + Ben got married…and I today is the day I realized I never blogged them! Perfect time to make up for that! I met these two the day before their wedding for a fun trash the dress session. They were ready to get in the water! We started in the pouring rain in the Iao Valley and ended up exploring south Maui all the way down to La Perouse Bay and ending up jumping in the huge waves at Makenna Beach. I had a blast taking these pictures with them and getting soaked myself!

Debi + Jeff opted to do their trash the dress photos prior to the wedding – Debi had a different dress of course! These two were up for any ideas I had. Abandoned old building? Sure! Climb on these slippery rocks? Ok! Jump in this water with all these rocks? No problem? We found out how hard it was to get in and out of a rocky beach with a wedding dress! We ended the evening jumping in to the hotel pool for some more underwater kissing! 😉

I love clients that are up for anything!  Including trampling through bug-infested woods, sliding down cliffs to find secluded beaches and climbing over lava rocks!  I adore these two!
