"Vacation"

I’ll be unavailable for the next two days, Monday and Tuesday. Taking a few days off to sleep off some anasthesia. I’m having my gallbladder removed way too early tomorrow morning. If all goes well, I will be out of the hospital the same day!

Take care,
Melissa

ps Booooo Patriots. Boooooo Giants (okay just Eli) too. I don’t have anyone to root for in the Superbowl and that makes me sad. ๐Ÿ™

The Melissa Club

You wish your name was Melissa too!

Today I got to have lunch at California Pizza Kitchen with two fabulous ladies in the wedding industry!

On the left is Melissa Barrad of I Do…Weddings! Not only is she a wonderful wedding planner but she also happens to be my new friend and my wedding coordinator!

The of course there is my silly mug in the middle!

On the right is the awesome Melissa Koehler, photographer for hire! You will be seeing a bit more of Melissa K on my blog this year due to the fact she will be shooting several fantastic 2008 weddings with me!

I had a great time with you two today! Let’s do it again soon!
XOXO,
M
Colette Fashion Show!
I’m not totally sure how I did it, but I completely forgot to blog about the fashion show at Colette Boutique! It happened on November 30th.

My very good friend, Allison, runs this adorable boutique in Temecula. It is located very close to the mall just across the street from Costco! You must check it out!

Joe + Erin are married!

Surprise! I think Erin should write a book titled “How to plan your dream wedding in under 9 days!” Seriously. Joe is a marine and got orders to move to Japan. The only way Erin was going to be able to go was to push their wedding up – by over a year! They had already planned to get married in 2009.

Erin and I were friends in high school and I was flattered when she immediately thought of me for the photography. Thank you Myspace!

This was also the first wedding that my fiance, Tim shot as my assistant. He did a fantastic job, I am really pleased with how well we work together and his images!

I couldn’t decide which shot of the flower girl I like better, this one:

or this one ๐Ÿ™‚ So I posted both!
The beautiful Erin:
We avoided outside as much as possible, it was pouring that day!

Gallery Wraps are awesome!

One of my brides ordered a gallery wrap from me and I wanted to share with you how awesome it looks! I am really happy with the new professional lab I am using for these. This particular one is a 16×20. (The yellow and white is my bedspread) ๐Ÿ™‚

The prices are as follows:

11″x14″ – $100.00
16″x20″ – $150.00
20″x24″ – $200.00
24″x30″ – $250.00

Please let me know if you are interested in one for your home!!

The quarter is to show you the thickness!

It comes ready to hang…just add the nail and the wall!
