Kim + John ~ Bernardo Winery

I leave tomorrow morning for Philidelphia and New Jersey, but I wanted to get this up before another adventure!

Kim and John were married on Wednesday, August 15 at Bernardo Winery. It was my first visit there, and I was so impressed by the location. Gorgeous spot!

Kim and John actually live in England, but decided to forgo the rainy UK weather for a sunnier San Diego (John’s hometown). The day was so beautiful, but it sure was hot! Kim was such a trooper even though I know she was melting! 🙂

The couple has two adorable children, here is Holland:

I made home safe from my week long stay in Chicago. I have 8 days at home finally. (well, in between a wedding, engagement shoot and portrait shoot. Oh an lots of laundry!) I leave again on Thursday for Philly/NJ. I have many many blogs coming very soon. So check back soon and often!

Diana + Gregg Wedding Photos

On August 11, I shot a wedding up in Julian . Diana and Gregg were so much fun, very down to earth and super friendly. She is a triathlete and they both enjoy the outdoors. Angels Landing was so perfect for their big day. It’s located in gorgeous scenic Julian overlooking a valley of golden pasture.

I love this shot of Diana watching Gregg and his mom dance. So sweet.

Heather + John

My good friend Heather married her soulmate John on August 4th in an intimate ceremony. The wedding took place at the Oceanside Habor, overlooking the water. The reception was at John’s parents home in Oceanside.

I met Heather and John back in 1999 when we all started working for Best Buy. Heather and I both moved to the Midwest and lost touch (even though were only lived 2 hours away!) We re-connected after I moved back to Cali, and she and John got engaged.

Heather’s gorgeous dress!

After patiently waiting by my front door for the Fed-Ex man, it arrived. My new baby. 12.8 megapixels encased in black matte plastic. Never thought I could be so in love with an inanimate object. The Canon 5D. Oh how I love thee.
