Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
I got to babysit my good friend’s daughter Madisyn last week. We played Candyland, sang to the Hamster, made a cookie in the Easy Bake Oven and ate pizza! Fun times!
I grabbed a few quick shots of her playing around with Hammy. Madisyn will be 5 in less than 30 days!
Caroline and Paul just love San Diego. They must if they flew all the way from the United Kingdom to get married here!
They were married on Friday, June 1st at Paradise Point. What a gorgeous location, I felt like I was in a different place completely! So much green!
Jenifer Mann assisted me on this day, it was a bit chilly but that didn’t bother anyone!

This is the longest I haven’t blogged all year. I’m going crazy! 🙂
Personal update: We moved to Vista (or we still are in process), I am now in my first week of being self employed (and loving it!) and I’m super busy with editing and weddings!
I promise, I get internet on Friday so I have some good stuff to share!

I got the opportunity to assist my mentor, Michele Terry from Captured Forever Photography. The greatest part about assisting is that I can relax and concentrate on getting detail shots and unique angles.
Michele and I always have a blast together and this wedding was far from boring! It was at Park Manor which is literally across the street from Balboa Park. It’s an older hotel, almost looks haunted.
They had this awesome candy bar at the Reception, so yummy!
They live in Boston, and Brad is a huge Bo Sox fan. Anna surprised him with this grooms cake:

John and Jon, two of my September grooms, and their soon to be brides, Jenn and Jenn. (Yes I have two Jennifer and Jo(h)n’s getting married in September…) John and Jon are currently on leave with the Coast Guard.
