Carmel Mountain Ranch CC Wedding – {Tim + Kelly}

This wedding was one of those rare situations where I didn’t meet the bride and groom until the day of the wedding.  Kelly & Tim (and their families) immediately made me feel comfortable and included – ideal for capturing such a special day.  These two were surrounded by so much love and support, the reception (and especially the toasts) were highly emotional.  I may or may not have welled up a little bit.  😉   Even their fur-baby Betsy got to be part of the ceremony!  She is extremely special to the couple.  This was my first wedding at CMRCC, I just love the tunnel they have as well as the windows in the reception area!  Gorgeous!

Happy New Year 2011!!

I cannot wipe this stupid happy grin off my face as I relived memories from each of these weddings.
So much love, new friendship and lots of laughs.  I wish the very same for your 2012!

Thank you to our amazing clients in 2011 (including those not pictured here!)  My life has been enriched by knowing you, you are the reason I do what I do!

Sunset Cliffs and Thursday Club Wedding – {Eric + Erin}

Erin is probably the sweetest person you would ever come in contact with.  From how she talks to you to how she acts.   Eric is her perfect match, shy and quiet but very much in love with Erin.  I just love how they look at each other.   Their wedding day was hot!  The guys limo had a broken AC yet zero complaints from Eric.  He just wanted to marry the love of his life.  W decided to do their first look at the Pt Loma Lighthouse.  We were rushed for portraits there but I am very happy with the time we had.  Their ceremony was at Luscomb Point, Sunset Cliffs with a reception following at The Thursday Club.  Much like Erin & Eric, their entire wedding was a class act!   I loved hearing all her families Irish accents too!  😉

I love the moment just after the first look.

Ocean View Villas Wedding, Pt Loma, CA – {Adam + Ashley}

I’m so excited to post this wedding of one of my favorite 2011 couples, Adam and Ashley!  I first met them at their Boston engagement session.  They live outside of Boston and every person from the wedding was from out East.  One thing that made this wedding special is that I left feeling like a friend, not a vendor.  Brenda and I even went to a Padres game with the group the next day!  I wish these two lived on this coast!! I also adore mid-week weddings, this one was on a Tuesday!

Brenda Swann did all of the design for this wedding. Ashley really put her trust in Brenda and the details were so beautiful!

My Best Friend’s Wedding!

The blog has been a little quiet lately…mostly because I’ve been traveling all over the country! Three time zones in one week and my body officially is confused.  Jason and I headed to Chicago last Thursday to celebrate my best friend Nichole and her new husband Mitch at their wedding!  It was an awesome (mostly) camera-free weekend!  When the photographers showed up to the wedding I put the camera away and tried to become a non-meddling bridesmaid.  It was hard, I will admit! 🙂 I’m excited to see what they created though!

   The following Sunday we were off to Maui to shoot two beautiful tropical destination weddings and two trash the dress shoots.  Thursday we were back on the plane to San Diego.  Friday was my good friends 10 year vow renewal and then my last 2011 wedding on Saturday!  It was a long tiring week but I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything!

Just because blogs are so much better with photos…
