Jerry and Nydia – Marina Village Wedding Photographer

I was so excited for Jerry and Nydia’s wedding just so I could hang out with these two again!  They have such a fun, playful relationship and truly treat each other with so much respect!

Nydia is a clothing designer and together they have a clothing company called Eterna Clothing.  Talk about two creative minds!

Beki hung out with the guys in the morning!

While Mandi and I were with the girls…

We stopped by Old Town for the portraits of the two of them!  Love the blue sky that day!

While I was shooting the image above, Mandi captured this one below!  (Thumbs up for two photographers at your wedding!)

Love this old car they had!

Meanwhile, Beki was over at Marina Village grabbing some detail shots like the one below!

Thanks to my lovely assistants who were a tremendous help that day!

I’m on a Boat! {Unavailable for the next 4 days!}

Mandi and I are headed to Nassau, Bahamas for Shawna and Jason’s wedding via Carnival Cruise lines! We leave today and the wedding is on Tuesday at the gorgeous Atlantis Resort. Because I am on a cruise ship, my internet will be extremely limited. I plan on checking once a day, but my response times will be longer than normal. 🙂

For now, enjoy a few photos below of my trip to St Croix, Virgin Islands last week!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

See you in November!

Jake and Amy – Geneva, IL Wedding Photographer

Last July, Amy and Jake were married in her hometown of Geneva, IL.  There were crazy thunderstorms and flooding the night before but if Amy was stressed over it, you couldn’t tell!  The actual day of the wedding was nice and dry…and humid!  I think that I have never experienced so much humidity in my life.

You may recognize these two from their fun firehouse engagement session!

My assistant Tina found this cool old abandoned building in Geneva!

The river in Geneva was crazy flooded so we went with our back up plan – the Japanese Garden in the Fabyan Forest Preserve.

The water you see here?  Not supposed to be there!

The reception was at the Lincoln Inn in Batavia. Its supposed to be super haunted!

I love when couples use their engagement photos on the day of!

Cool shot by Tina below!

It was such a fun reception…I was on the dance floor boogieing more than once that night!

Paul and Carolyn – Serra Museum Wedding Photographer

It had been years since I shot a wedding at the Serra Muesum and I’m a little bummed it took so long!  Such a gorgeous location.  Carolyn and Paul were so fun to be around too.  They are caring and genuine people and have an awesome group of friends and family!

Stunning florals by Christine with Fancy That

Congrats you two!

Jessie and Ben were married on the beach in gorgeous La Jolla.  Ashley Tatum of Ashley Elizabeth Art of Entertaining was the coordinator and also designed the beautiful florals!

Jessie was an absolute beauty!

The Heroes rocked it out!

Special thanks to Allison Parker and Lisa from Elle G Photography for helping out!
