Kennedy School, Portland Wedding – |Ryan + Melodee|

I met Melodee 10-ish years ago when she worked in my bank! Her bubbly personality drew me in and I always went to her window on purpose. We lost touch for a few years and reconnected over our love for beer! She was working at Green Flash when she met her brewer husband Ryan. It took awhile for Ryan to warm up to Melodee (for anyone that knows him – this is who he is) but in the end she got her man. They moved to Portland a couple years ago for Ryan to take a brewing job up north, which resulted in him winning his very first Great American Beer Fest medal – on his wedding day!! Talk about best day ever! They didn’t realize the two days coincided when they planned the wedding but I know there is no place these two would have rather been.

The rain threatened to show up to the wedding day but magically held off…but made Oregon extra green and lush that weekend! We laughed, we drank, we ate our weight in s’mores. It was perfection.

Heritage Park and Cosmopolitan, Old Town Wedding – |Addison + Lisa|

When I met Addison + Lisa in our initial meeting, we talked for 2.5 hours! It was a match made in craft beer heaven. I had fun getting to know them at their engagement session and even more hanging out on their wedding day! They were surrounded by so many friends and family, love could be felt all around. Their three pups even made an appearance in the form of a cake topper!

La Jolla Scripps Forum wedding – |Sean + Stephanie|

la jolla wedding photographer Sean + Stephanie – I had so much getting to know these two. They are my kind of people. Down to earth, kind-hearted craft beer lovers. One of the funnest memories from their wedding day was when I was photographing Stephanie opening her card from Sean. Turns out they bought each other the EXACT SAME CARD!!! How kismet is that?!?! Meant to be!

Also, my friends over at Side by Side Cinema posted their video of the beautiful day here if you want to see more!!

Golden Colorado Elopement – |Kate + Thad|

This elopement is a special one as Kate is my college roommate and very close friend! There was no way I was missing this celebration! Kate was never a traditional girly-girl and wanted something unique and fun for her wedding to Thad. They said this vows on a snowy hilltop surrounded by family. Ate a tasty brunch with a larger group of friends and family and ended the day with a brewery and distillery tour with the group! It was the perfect way to show their love for each other and the finer things in life – drinking! <3
