I booked a mentor session with the awesome Beth while I was in Austin in September. It was pouring rain off and on all day with lots of Thunderstorms in the warning (she even drove through one so bad on her way to meet me that it ripped off her windshield wiper!)

If you’ve been with my blog since the beginning these two may look familiar – I photographed their wedding back in 2007! They were so kind to leave their two kiddos at home and come model for us during the mentor session. I picked the library because it had some covered spaces but it ended up dry during our shoot time (although WARM and MUGGY) so we went outside!
