I’m so excited share Debi + Jeff’s wedding photos from the gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House in Maui! I always get to know the families a little better with destination weddings and it was no different with these families! Jeff + Debi are so much fun to hang out with. And laid back, a perfect attitude for Maui! Fun fact: I got my first ever bee sting during bridal party portraits. On my toe! A very nice EMT masquerading as a groomsmen took good care of me and cleaned/bandaged me up!

Debi + Jeff opted to do their trash the dress photos prior to the wedding – Debi had a different dress of course! These two were up for any ideas I had. Abandoned old building? Sure! Climb on these slippery rocks? Ok! Jump in this water with all these rocks? No problem? We found out how hard it was to get in and out of a rocky beach with a wedding dress! We ended the evening jumping in to the hotel pool for some more underwater kissing! 😉

I was so excited to photograph my first same sex wedding! Floyd + Michael have been together for 22 years and decided to make it official in front of their daughter Lehua and good friend. We started at the Courthouse in downtown San Diego and ended up at their beautiful Del Mar home, just steps from the beach! The day was full of a lot of laughs, which I imagine is a normal occurrence in their home!

Ryan lives in Colorado and Sharon in Riverside so we had to schedule their engagement photos when Ryan was in town. Of course on the day scheduled it was pouring rain!  We decided to wait 2 days and ended up with the most gorgeous light and sunset! It was meant to be. Planning a wedding is tough enough but when you and your significant other live in different states? That takes some good communication skills! I’m so excited for their wedding this Summer in Fallbrook!
