Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
I’ve been MIA in blog land! My blog feels so neglected!
I spent the last week in Las Vegas for the largest Photography Convention of the year – WPPI. It was so much fun, I learned a ton about new products and saw many old friends! I look forward to this convention ever year, this was my 4th time!
And of course every year we do our annual bed jumping! Enjoy!

The 1st video on the blog is none other than my gorgeous studio-mate Cathy with Love at First Invite. Her little bundle of Aven joined us on Feb 3rd and you will be seeing photos of her very soon!
The 2nd video is also my other beautiful studio-mate, Helena with Divine Events by Helena. She is due this coming May and I couldn’t be more excited to meet little Emma! Last month, while Christina was filiming this Baby Wishes video for Helena and Erik, I photographed their maternity session…which I will be posting in full very soon. In the meantime, here is a teaser and Helena’s video!

The week leading up to the wedding was cold and wet! But on that Saturday, the sun made its appearance and it was an amazingly perfect day! Suzie and David had a super intimate Hotel Del wedding and traveled all the way from South Dakota! One thing I loved about this wedding, instead of a DJ or band, they had lyric sheets made up (heavy on the Beatles songs!) and had a fun sing along for the reception! What a cool sense of community when everyone at your wedding is singing along! Enjoy a glimpse of their day, starting with a moment during their first look!

Suzie and David decided on a destination wedding this past September and brought their friends and family out from South Dakota for the celebration! I’ll be posting their gorgeous Hotel Del wedding this week. But first, we met a few days prior to their wedding for a fun trash the dress session. They loved the idea when we met for the first time in my studio so Suzie found a cute 2nd dress and we had a blast! I must admit, they were awesome troopers because it was super chilly and overcast the day we shot these!!
