Happy New Year – 2016 recap!

I love putting these together every year. I get to think about each client and their wedding and what a special day it was. I’m so thrilled that I am able to be a small part of one of the best days of their lives! Thank you to my amazing 2016 wedding clients. You made my 11th year in business one of the best! And to all my families, boudoir clients, commercial clients – I’m thankful for you as well!

Here’s to a prosperous and wonderful 2017!

San Diego Elopement – |Colby + Greg|

Colby is one of my oldest friends – I won’t say how long we’ve known each other but we met in 6th grade! I wasn’t able to attend her wedding reception so I offered to cover their courthouse elopement a few weeks prior. I had met Greg once before and always loved how much he makes her laugh. Colby wore a gorgeous boho gown from Kite + Butterfly and even their pup Indie got to attend! Now, I just need to talk them in to inviting me to their wedding celebration in France next year – back to Greg’s home country!

Todos Santos Day before the wedding session – |Paloma + Gavin|

I hope you got a chance to look at Paloma + Gavin’s beautiful Mexico wedding in the post prior. We had not met in person so we opted to meet up the day before for a little photoshoot around the beautiful streets of Todos Santos! The colors were mind-blowing! And it was great to get these two in front of my camera for the first time! We started at our little hotel pool which Julie + I spent the whole day after the wedding relaxing!

Todos Santos Mexico Destination Wedding – |Gavin + Paloma|

todos-santos-destination-wedding-mexico-01I’m so excited to share this amazing Mexico destination wedding I photographed earlier this year! This couple was a referral from a sorority sister and I had so much fun meeting and getting to know Paloma and Gavin down in Mexico. I traveled to a new place – Todos Santos. Wow, the town stole my heart. Paloma and Gavin are two of the most kind-hearted and caring people I have ever met. The second we met, they treated me as a friend. I’m so lucky to have so many amazing couples!

This wedding was featured on Every Last Detail blog today too! Head on over there to see a few different images from the day!

Little Italy San Diego Engagement – |Jess + Joaquin|

These two are getting hitched tomorrow so I wanted to share their engagement session from last month before the big day! Jess + Joaquin wanted something a little funky and different for their session and when she mentioned Day of the Dead I immediately thought of the funky area of Little Italy around El Camino restaurant. Plus we shot this on Halloween so that was extra fun! I just love all the colors and textures of this neighborhood! jjengagement_003 jjengagement_011 jjengagement_022 jjengagement_033 jjengagement_042 jjengagement_051 jjengagement_056 jjengagement_067 jjengagement_077 jjengagement_079 jjengagement_101 jjengagement_114 jjengagement_119 jjengagement_125
