Traveling has been a passion of mine since I got my first passport at 6 months old (no joke!) I sat on my moms lap and made gaga sounds at the photographer. I started traveling alone at age 6 to visit my Aunt in Missouri every Summer. I haven't stopped since. Where I go, my camera follows. I love experiencing new places and capturing each one in my own way.
Julie and Eric – Honeymoon Photography, Maui, Hawaii
How often do you get professional photos taken on your Honeymoon?! Not very often, is my guess. Well, Julie and Eric took advantage of the fact I was in town and booked me for what I call a Honeymoon shoot! Julie was my wonderful bride, Tami’s bridesmaid. She and Eric were married this past September and waited to have their honeymoon around Tami’s wedding – so sweet! I had such a good time getting to know these two over the week. Julie and I totally bonded, I want to go visit them in Vermont soon!
These were all shot within walking distance of our hotel, Papakea Resort.

I literally cried when I saw these pictures. Julie has been my BFF for over 20 years and to see her so in love with her husband, enjoying the beauty of Maui, and looking beyond beautiful… just makes me want to burst. Thank you Melissa for capturing such a special experience.
